Overview

The iconic flip phone is re-invented for today. Instantly familiar yet totally unique, the new Motorola razr fuses the pocket-ready size of a flip phone with the intelligence of a modern smartphone. I assisted in developing assets across Motorola’s web, social, CRM, media, retail,  YouTube, and partnership channels.

Through this campaign, I created display media and animations that were used as part of demo-mode videos to display on every phone in retail displays across the US. I also created assets to support the Verizon exclusive blush-gold edition razr.

Animation

For this new iteration of the motorola razr, I was tasked with creating animations to showcase the fact that the phone could fold in half. This was new technology that utilized flexible LCD displays, and was the first device announced in the US to offer such a format.  I explored two different motions for showcasing the devices and both were used as promotional content on Motorola’s social channels.

Display Media

The motorola razr was promoted with a full funnel paid media plan that included web, CRM, display, social media, and even TV airtime during the 2019 Grammy’s. I was the sole creator of all display banners for razr in the US and CAN. This included editing video and creating motion graphics to highlight main device KSP’s for each concept, exporting all assets, and coding/exporting the creatives from Google Web Designer to DV360 for our media team to traffic.
